UNDER stormy clouds former Melbourne Storm star Matt King married his long-term girlfriend Kirsten Deane in Richmond yesterday.
Deane looked stunning in an ivory gown by Melbourne couture label J'Aton, while King, a former favourite of Storm fans who now plays for Warrington Wolves in the UK, teamed his wedding suit with black Converse sneakers.

In fact his entire wedding party of Ian Donnelly, Dallas Johnson, Cooper Cronk and best man Brendan Biddle tossed aside their dress shoes and pulled on their sneakers.

King and Deane exchanged vows at St Ignatius Church in Richmond.

The couple, who live in the UK, bucked tradition by having their honeymoon before their wedding.

They honeymooned in South America on their way to Melbourne.

Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy, and players Billy Slater and Matt Geyer were among the guests.
